Preparation Steps
  1. In a 10 fl oz microwave-safe mug, whisk together 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 2 tablespoons of oat flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of granulated sweetener, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Pour in 3 tablespoons of milk, add the egg white, and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until a lump-free, thick batter forms.
  3. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of melted butter or coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and a dash of ground cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Dollop the swirl mixture onto the thick batter in the mug. Use a toothpick to create a marbled effect.
  5. Microwave the mug cake on high for 60-90 seconds.
