- Fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rapid boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, add the fresh tortellini and cook according to package instructions for about 4-5 minutes.
- With 2 minutes left, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the tortellini and broccoli.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the lemon juice, zest, and reserved pasta water to the skillet, allow to bubble for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the tortellini and broccoli in the skillet, add Parmesan, and mix thoroughly.
