  • 1 cup Brewed Coffee (Espresso) Use strong coffee for flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar Sweetens whipped topping.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract No substitutions necessary.
  • 1 tbsp Instant Coffee Optional for stronger coffee flavor.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  2. Sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  3. Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale, about 7 minutes.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into the egg mixture and add milk until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22 to 25 minutes.
  6. Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, brewed coffee, and cocoa.
  7. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the mocha milk mixture over it evenly.
  8. Cover and chill the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  10. Spread whipped cream over the chilled cake and dust with cocoa or add chocolate curls.
