Step-by-Step Instructions for Goat Cheese and Walnut Tarts
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare your workspace.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut out eight 5-inch circles. Score a ¼-inch border around each circle.
  3. Place pastry circles on a lined baking sheet. In each center, dollop 2 tablespoons of goat cheese, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Herbs de Provence, then add chopped walnuts and drizzle with honey.
  4. Whisk an egg with a teaspoon of warm water and brush it around the edges of each tart.
