  • 2 bell peppers, diced any color you like
  • 6 oz tomato paste can use crushed tomatoes for a different texture
  • 1/2 cup water can use chicken or vegetable broth for flavor
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning fresh herbs can be used, about three times the amount
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes omit for milder taste
  • salt to taste

  1. Sauté the Turkey: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add ground turkey, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat and set aside.
