Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls or slider buns, whole wheat for healthier option
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese mozzarella is a great substitution
  • 8 oz Turkey ham lean turkey slices are ideal for a lighter option
  • 4 oz Pepperoni can swap with roast beef
  • 4 oz Salami can replace with smoked turkey
For the Mixture
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt as a lighter alternative
  • 2 cups Shredded iceberg lettuce consider romaine for extra flavor
  • 1 medium Red onion diced, green onions can be used for milder taste
  • 1/2 cup Banana peppers omit for milder flavor
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar apple cider vinegar can be used
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil canola oil is a suitable substitute
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter omit for lighter version
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning mix of oregano and basil works well
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder fresh garlic is a lovely substitute
  • 1 tsp Black pepper adjust according to taste
  • 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese nutritional yeast for vegan option

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients while the oven heats up.
  2. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish, cut side up.
  3. Layer turkey ham, salami, and pepperoni across the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Place slices of provolone cheese on top of the layers of meat.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls back onto the filled bottom halves and press down slightly.
  6. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated parmesan cheese. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. While baking, prepare topping by combining lettuce, onion, banana peppers, mayonnaise, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and black pepper.
  9. After baking, let sliders cool for a few minutes. Spoon the lettuce mixture inside each slider.
  10. Slice the sliders into individual portions and serve warm.
